The Big Shout - Saturday 27th March A day of worship, prayer and empowerment, in the Big Shed at the Royal Cornwall Showground. Q. Who is organising the day?
A. A group of like minded Christians from - The Cornwall Prayer Initiative, House Of Prayer Barnstaple, House Of Prayer Polzeath and Big Blue Box.
Q. What is the format for the day?
A. The day will be split up into Prayer sections which may be either corporate or we may divide into groups and each section of the day will cover a particular subject, i.e. Our Region, Local Issues, Morality. The day will be flexible and we want to leave room for God's guidance.
Q. Will people be fasting?
A. This is a personal option we would encourage, but is not compulsory.
Q. Will there be facilities to eat on site?
A. We are arranging for some catering on site (a mobile vendor). But we would encourage people to bring pack lunches if needed. There are no set meal breaks, again it will be up to the individual.
Q. Will there be worship?
A. Yes we are having worship throughout the day led from the front by a worship band.
Q. Who is the day aimed at?
A. The day is aimed at praying Christians of all ages throughout the South West. There will be a dedicated emphasis on youth in an evening section between 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Q. Is it a Youth Event?
A. No - it is for all ages BUT we want to encourage the youth in particular and the evening will have a 'Big Shout' with the youth claiming the region and dealing with youth issues.
